BIO: Sabra Hawkes is a Paralympian track & field athlete who began working with coach Ricci-Munn back in 2005. Since that time, Sabra has ascended to the professional ranks as an athlete, setting the U.S. 100 and 200 meter records along the way. Hawkes was a member of the 2008 U.S. Paralympic team that competed in Beijing and currently has her sights set on the London 2012 Paralympic games.

In addition to her work as an athlete, Hawkes is currently perusing a degree in Health Promotion and Fitness at Keene State College in hopes to ultimately being involved with disability sports as a career.

Hawkes lives north of Boston in the coastal town of Rockport, Mass., where she grew up sailing and skiing with her family.

2007:  US Para Pan-American Games team member; Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
